Come Celebrate Gabi's Life!

Thank you so much to everyone that has been leaving such heart warming comments to us. Many of you have never had the opportunity to meet Micah, Gabi, or myself and have still found so much love in your hearts for us.

For anyone that would like to come and celebrate Gabi's life with us the service will be held at

Lawrence Heights Christian Church
2321 Peterson Road
Lawrence Ks 66049
http://www.lawrence-heights.org/

If you go to the link there is a little map on there to help you with directions. It is right off of
I-70, very easy to get to. You can also always go to mapquest.com and get driving directions.

The service will start at 10:30 am on Saturday August 25th and there will be a short reception immediately following the celebration of Gabi's life.

All of you have become a part of our family with your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Gabi brought so many people together via the internet, I know she would love to bring all of us together in person to celebrate her life and all she has taught us in such a short amount of time.

If you have any question please just let us know.

With all our love,
Jason, Micah, Gracie, and Gabi (Our Angel Above)

P.S. Someone had asked about sending flowers and cards. If that is something you would prefer to do you can send them directly to the church at the address above. We will also be setting up a memorial fund for "Gifts of Gabi's Grace".

Coming to you from Michelle's blog...my little boy has Down syndrome also.

My ♥ is in pieces for all of you. I went back to the very beginning and read all the way through to today.

God bless you, Jason and Gracie...and especially Gabi. She was a very blessed and lucky little girl to have had you as her family while she was here.

Micah and Jason,
I want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am glad I got the chance to talk to you both on Saturday night. In our short conversation, I could see how incredibly loved that little girl was. You are both amazing people. I worked today and was actually going to come check on you, I am sorry I didn't get the chance to meet your beautiful daughter. May God be with you in the time.

I am so so sad that I have to be here at cmh on Saturday. I was so hoping it would be a different day so I could see you both and give you one last hug. I am thinking of you so often and of sweet Gabi. We were all talking about you two yesterday and how much we will miss seeing you both. You were a blessing to have in our unit and you both and Gabi touched many people's lives including my own. PLEASE please stay in touch with us and keep us updated! I'm so sorry I won't be there to say good bye to Gabi.

Jason & Micah-
My heart goes out to you both. Nic had kept me updated some on Gabi. She was a special gift you two shared for too short a time. Cherish your wonderful memories and each other. This will be very rough time but you will get through it, together. You have much support from friends and family.

I so wish I could be there! Unfortunately finances do not allow for me to go. I want you to know that I am thinking about you all, and today my Gabi wore pigtails to school in honor of your Gabi! There is a pic on blog of it if you want to see.

Micah & Jason,
I visited your sweet Gabi last Friday the 10th when I came to deliver the meal vouchers from the Down Syndrome Guild. She was so precious and I could tell by her room how much she was loved and what wonderful parents and family she had. The nurse was in with her and I was able to speak to Gabi for a few minutes. It was an honor to meet such an angel. She was a precious gift from God and I know you know that. My prayers go out to you and all of your loved ones. I know she will be deeply missed.

All our love!
