NEVER FORGOTTEN

We miss our little angel, So infinitely dear...We shared a whole lifetime of love In your short lifetime here. If it had been within our power We'd not have let you go...And yet, we trust the One who said He loved the children so. And though the years will pass— "Time heals all wounds," they say, We'll always miss our angel sweet— The one who went away. But we can smile— For up in Heaven, Where little ones are kissed—We know you're in Jesus' arms, And never, ever missed.
—Hope Harrington Kolb

Jason has tried really hard to stay uplifting and of course then there is me and you all know after following our story so long when my heart aches, it is a bit more obvious. I cannot even begin to explain how much we miss our baby girl. We have spoke to so many people and received so many words of encouragement, THANK YOU!!! Although this is a very devastating time, it is also a time we want all of you to time out of your day and realize just how precious life can be. Parents hug and kiss your babies, they are never to young or old for love! Realize that each day spent together is a gift and never take it for granted! If I could do anything differently I wouldn't, I had the most amazing little girl and she has made our world a better place. If she wouldn't of come into our lives I would not be the person I am today. I would not of met the people I have. I would of never experienced the greatest love of all. She was sent here to rescue me and show me the love of the Lord and with him all things are possible. Although we will never get over the loss of our angel, and it will never be easier, we will look back and think of all the wonderful memories we had with her.

I love you little punky...you will NEVER be forgotten!!!

Be sure to read the below entry for the service details.
Oh yeah, the reception...lunch will be provided thanks to our family at our church!

Micah, I hope if I ever have to go through what you are experiencing right now, that I can do so with the same grace and strength you are showing right now. I just wanted to say that I am sure Gabi was met by the angels and welcomed back to heaven just as warmly as she was escorted from this life by her family.

You and your family are so AMAZING! Gabi will always live within you and shine through you. You are continuing her journey to touch and change lives. I am so fortunate that you are a great friend in my life and hate that you have to endure this pain. I love and miss you, but I will see you this weekend.

Micah,Jason & Gracie, all my previous comments have been directed to our little angel Gabi but this one is for you. You are the most amazing team. The love & support you gave to our angel is beyond belief. No greater love has a parent than for their children, you have and continue to show this everyday. Your hearts are breaking as is mine. Brian & I just hold each other and feel the love that our family has for each other. There will never be another Gabi, no one can take her place. She was so very special because of you!! You are both so strong and your bond is stronger now because of this little one. She has the most incredible big sis (Gracie) who loves her with all her heart. How lucky Gabi was to be given to you. You guys are our shining stars. If there is anything we as the parents of you can say, its "Wow", we really did something right! What amazing kids we have. We are so very proud of the quality of people your are. We are so lucky that God gave you to us. Thank you for giving us Gabi who has taught us so much about life. Thank you for Gracie who continues to make our world a brighter place. We love you all so much. With all the hurt we feel right now and how painful is was to lose Gabi it is comforting to know we can all carry her in our hearts forever.
Our love and our prayers are with you.

Love, Mom & Daddy B.

Jason and Micah-
I found a poem for you. I truly hope you like it.

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.

If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.

If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.

If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.

If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It's a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.

So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

I am so so sorry for the loss of Gabi. She was a beautiful little girl so full of life! Please know you have a very special Angel looking down at you at all times.
Love Always, Angie Cain-Arnett

I'm so sorry for your loss. When my grandson died on the day he was born, the only comfort I had was in believing that God took our Conner because he was perfect. His body wasn't, but his soul was absolutely flawless. There was nothing he needed to do on earth that he hadn't already accomplished with his birth. I think we're all here for a reason. Our Conner was too perfect to have to suffer anymore on earth. Your Gabi must be perfect also. I know she sure was beautiful and I'm so sorry that you must feel the pain of her absence. I wish I knew the right words, but I don't think they exist so I'll just say I'm sorry for your pain.

Micah, thank you for such sweet sentiments. As difficult a time as this is, I feel you haven't lost her, she's just gone on ahead. You'll be with her again some day. Surrounding you in a warm internet hug.

I think that you are defintely right about Gabi being brought into your life for a purpose.I believe she was put on this earth to teach everyone a lesson. Like you said you would not be the person you are today without her...I also agree that she was sent here to show you the love of the Lord. Before Gabi was in your life, you were not as half as strong as you now. I mean heck remember all of our cries in the office over stupid things and they were petty compaired to the things you have been through. I am SO proud of you Micah for who you have become and everything that you have dealt with.. You truly are an inspiration.. And I love and miss you!

Just remember to Celebrate Gabi's life in everyting that you do. She will be with you every minute of the day..
God Bless you family and I wish I could be there..
GOD BLESS AGAIN
BugLET
p.s. I hope you got my voice mail..=)
rest in peace Gabi..

Words cannot possibly express how very sorry I am for your loss. I never met Gabi, but I feel so lucky to have been given the chance to observe her life. Witnessing her strength and how so many strangers can come together to share love and prayers for such a precious baby, has changed my outlook on life. Micah, you have been an inspiration to me as a mother, I can only dream of ever being as courageous as you. Your angel is very special, thank you so much for sharing her with the world. She will always have a place in my heart and I will continue to pray for your family indefinitely.

It tells us in the Bible that we all have a purpose in life. While we may never know exactly what God is trying to teach us, one thing we can learn from all this is that there are no guarantees in life. We must live and love every day as if it were our last. We must never take our loved ones for granted and we must love everyone as our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We were fortunate enough to be there in Gabi's final hours and tell her goodbye. The love we witnessed there was simply amazing. While Jason and Micah were totally overwhelmed by the roller coaster of emotions they had been going through and trying to cope with Gabi's passing, they never lost sight of the fact that Gracie needed loving and understanding as well. Even in the final moments of Gabi's life they tried to help Gracie understand and had enough love left in them to comfort her. We have never been more proud or felt more blessed to have Jason as our son and Micah as our daughter-in-law.

Gabi's life was short, but she had a major impact on us all.

Goodbye sweetheart. We'll see you again someday and watch you play and laugh. Thank you for teaching us what love is truly all about.

Hugs and Kisses

There aren't words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I thank you from the bottom of my heart in allowing me to be a part of your precious baby girl's life. She is truly a blessing to you and all of us blog viewers. I know that tonight I'm going to hug my family tighter than ever before and I have you guys to thank for showing me not only the importance of every day but also how strong a family is. Time may heal, but I promise you that no one will ever forget Miss Gabbers and what she taught us about fighting for life! Your whole family is a true inspiration.
