Where do I begin???
How about we had a good Thanksgiving. We had a very difficult time being completely happy, after all a piece of our family is gone. But we spoke of the good times and smiled a lot, but shed many many tears. Gracie even had a hard time, which broke our hearts, but it is a fact we are all sad! We decided though that we will hang Gabi's stocking, which I planned on anyways, and we are going to start a new family tradition. Every Christmas we are going to pick out one special gift for all of us to enjoy, that reminds us of our little angel.
As you can see we helped MiMi and Popi put up their tree. Gracie had fun, she is such a good helper. And she did it in style with the santa hat and all, of course we had to get daddy in on the action...hehehe!!!

Update on the Santa's Little Helpers...
The donations just keep coming, thank you to everyone who has been helping. These kids are going to get some wonderful gifts and it's all because of the love and support we continue to get from each of you. I can't wait for the 8th, it will be a very special day!
I do have one question though and this is for anyone who can help, Jason wants to dress as Santa...imagine that:) Anyways does anyone know of a place we can rent a costume or does anyone have one we could borrow, that would fit him??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Baby Update...
And now for those of you who keep asking to share the belly pics...well here you go! So the first one was about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but the bigger or the 2 which is very obvious is from Saturday. Last week we renamed Bean, Lemon Drop, the baby was then the size of a lemon, so hence the name. Well looks like we should just call it baby Acker, cause now this week is it the size of an apple. I know Gweneth Palthrow can call her baby Apple, but I just can't...so baby Acker it is!!! Next week is my 16 week regular check up, then the 10th is the big one...level 2 ultra sound and we find out what we are having, I CANNOT WAIT for that appt. I haven't felt much as far as kicks and movement, but I feel flutters all the time. I have been getting sick more often. Gracie and I say it is a boy, Gabi never gave me this much trouble, so it's gotta be a boy:) As for Jason he thinks it is a girl, because he thinks he will never have a boy, but I know he'd love a little boy. Either way neither one of us really care, and as Jason would say we just want a healthy ticker! The rest we can handle!

I love the belly pics!! I just want you to know that you are an amazing person. I think the stocking for Gabi is a great idea along with the tradition for the gift. Take care of yourself and I will be sending you pics soon of the gift tag.
Lots of Hugs!!
I think that your new Christmas tradition and the hanging of Gabi's stocking is a wonderful way to keep Gabi's spirit with you all. I hope that Jason can find a Santa suit, that would definately be the icing on the cake for those children (unless they are like Kaden, hahaha). I will definately post the belly pictures for you, I kind of have to now. You are so cute and I can't believe how big you are (in an awesome way) already. That little one sure is growing!!!! I will try to post some hopefully by this weekend, however my belly is beyond being cute anymore : ). I am so excited for you guys and just think Dec.
10th is right around the corner!!! It will come faster than you know, especially since your busy with the stockings and all. Well, as always you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care...Amy
Wow! Your belly is really popping out there..how sweet! I love it Micah. You look adorable! I think the stocking idea is fabulous, Gabi should have a part of Christmas with you guys. I'm so glad I can play a small part of helping you on the 8th. If there is anything else I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. I can't wait for the sonogram!! Hopefully Jason gets his boy but my guess is a girl.
Love you guys,
Christy
Aww. I can't believe the change in only 4 weeks!! That is going to be one big boy - in my opinion. :)I'm excited to find out too!!
That is a great idea for the annual tradition Gabi gift. Very sweet. Its so great that you guys do those types of things to keep you close.
See you next Saturday!
love, laurie
What huh?!!! Is that really you? What a cute belly, but I can't believe how much you've popped out. Were those pictures taken around the same time b/c the second one looks much bigger. Anyways, sooo cute, can't wait to see you guys! hope you're feeling better.
I first read your article in the Kansas City DS newsletter and decided to check out this site. You both have done a fantastic job documenting your life and the love of your little Gabi. I love it and I am so happy to hear of your new addition. I have a 4 1/2 month daughter, Ashtin Kate, that was diagnosed with DS at birth. My heart goes out to you as I read the entire blog about Gabi. Even though we have never met, your family is in our families prayers.
With Love, Ashtin's mommy
What the heck did you swallow a watermelon!?! ha ha your so freaking adorable.. I wish I could see you but it's so freaking hectic this time of year. Congrats with the Santa Helpers, we donated tons of time to shopping for a little boy this year and it just makes you feel so amazin!! Can't wait to hear if its a boy or a girl... My prediction is a boy! Jason's going to get his wish because of how amazing he is.. I feel it!! I agree w ith Bella's mom, the stocking is a great idea, and even if you guys three\soon to be four buy an ornament a year that reminds you of Gabi that's great that way it's on your tree! You take care lil bit! Kentucky's not the same without you!! Oh yes a Santa Suit..they have them at Wal-Mart relatively cheap.. When I go tonight, I will find out the exact price and call u!
