A Full Moon!

Micah and I had the best phone call this morning when we called to check on Gabi before church. The nurse told us that they put her on her tummy again to sleep and she slept like a rock. She said it was the cutest thing in the world because Gabi is still not wearing a diaper to let her little bottom dry out and heal up. So when she walked in and Gabi was on her tummy all she saw was the cutest little naked bottom sticking up in the air! haha.

They have continued to come down on her sedation which is a plus because it means that she is more awake and can focus on Mommy and Daddy! She looks really good and all her levels and rates are doing much better. This week is going to be a week of nutrition with a little work on the venilator and next week if she does well we will focus more on getting rid of the venilator. So in short we are back to the starting line of coming down off of meds and levels again. Let's all pray that this go around it is much more successful and works so we don't have to go through it all over again.

On a different note, I need to ask everyone a favor. Micah is up here at the hospital day in and day out to be with her baby. She relys on the comments on Gabi's blog as her communication with the outside world. We apprecaite all of you and everyone that has commented and I can tell more than ever how much it means to us to hear from you.

We appreciate the prayers for us and our baby and continue to pray for many of you who have a lot going on in your own worlds.

Love
Jason, Micah, Gracie, and Gabi (The Mooner)

Glad to hear she is doing good. When Kaden was really ill at the begining the nurses put him on his stomach and it seemed to do a 180 for him. He still continues to sleep on his belly with his little tush in the air. Hopefully you all will be out of the hospital soon. I know that it is hard not to get anxious, but you all have done a wonderful job at taking it as it comes (you too Gabi). You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I hope that your little bottom is healing Gabi and that you continue to be as comfortable as you can be. We hope you have a wonderful night, sweet dreams little angel. Take care...Nate and Amy

SO happy to hear Gabi had a good night rest. She needed it! Sounds like she is improving at her own pace, not at the rate we want her to go but it's all good. Micah, would it be possible for you and Jason to post your email? I would like to add you and Jason to my email address. I plan on seeing my little angel on Thursday, oh I cannot wait to see her! Take care and we love you all! Angie Cain-Arnett

Gabi, MiMi thinks you have the cutest tushy I've ever seen but you get that from your mommy. ha! Everyday is one day closer to holding you and I can't wait, along with everyone else. I watched you sleeping last night and thought how amazing that one tiny angel baby has touched so many lives, some who have never met you. You are soooo special and soooo loved!!!! You have an awesome mommy, daddy & big sister. You are a very lucky to have them and we are all lucky to have YOU!!! I love you so much and will see you tonight!!!

Love, MiMi T.
